Asian Games even better industry than G8 summits f

The Australian production company behind the Doha Asian Games opening and closing ceremonies is planning a bigger spectacular than it put on for the Sydney Olympics. Organizers have been working for some years on the event, using 40km of cabling, 58km of steel wire and more than 2,000 tonnes of steel. This is on par with the five-mile wire mesh security fence erected around Gleneagles Hotel n July of 2005 prior to the G8 summit (the annual international festival that allows democratically elected world leaders to dine and wine in luxury, while the grass root plebes riots and vent their frustration and dislike for politicians ). What ever your opinion of these high profile sport events they are certainly good for suppliers of barbed wire cable and wire fence. We have no figures on the contribution to the wire & cable industry for the Doha Asian Games this years just that the contract exceeds the 2005 G8 summit in 2005.
