Manufacturer of fiber optic cables for the enterprise market and for the USA military, Optical Fiber Corporation, Roanoke, VA, USA, has received the inaugural Compass Award for Excellence in International Trade from the Commonwealth of Virginia. The award was presented to the company at the 58th Annual Virginia Conference
on World Trade by Patrick O. Gottschalk, Secretary of Commerce and Trade for the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The Compass Award of Excellence in International Trade was created by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) to honor a Virginia-based business that has excelled in the arena of global commerce.
Optical Cable President/CEO, Neil Wilkin, said, “This accolade is a tribute to our sales team’s success in targeting opportunities outside the USA, and a testament to the supportive business environment fostered by the VEDP.”
